description
NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board sought to commission an Organisational Development Service in line with the specified requirements. The service sought is for up to a 12-month duration providing innovative OD interventions being provided face to face in ICB office locations across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire.
The ICB requires a supplementary focused specialist OD expertise working closely with the CEO and CPO to co design an OD intervention for the executive team and the extended leadership team (ELT).
The provider will be required to -
| • | provide advice and assurance on different delivery options with a clear assessment of each option including, but not limited to, the practicality, timescales, resources, cost, comparative value for money and risk. This will include producing reports, outlining strategies, identifying programs of work and associated project plans to achieve the required change and outcome. |
| • | provide their lessons learned approach and apply this throughout the delivery of the contract. The provider will ensure that lessons learned and any required continuous improvement taking place in line with BSW requirements, which will be defined by BSW during award procedure. |
| • | provide a full project plan which will include outputs and milestones and provide at least weekly updates on milestone delivery, risks, and issues. |
| • | work with BSW ICB to identify the any issues and risks identified and agree a management strategy. The Provider shall proactively manage project risks and issues to deliver mutual benefits and the most successful outcome for BSW. |
The contract has been awarded to Hennessey Consulting Ltd. The contract term of up to 12 months, with a total contract value of £46,050.00.
The new service commenced on 1st March 2025.
This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
Additional information: The contract value of this procurement is under the threshold that is subject to the full regime of current procurement legislation and governed by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Therefore, the rules of this Regime do not apply.
