Treetops Children's Centre - Refurbishment works

Project Description

Internal and external refurbishment and minor alteration works at Treetops Children's Centre, Woodbury Road, Kidderminster. It is anticipated that the works will be split into 3 separate sections, each with their own start and completion date. The sections are detailed on the attached WCC-TT-PP drawing and described below.

Section 1 - External entrance works

Alterations to the front of the building to form a new dedicated staff entrance, works comprise the removal of an existing fences and gates, replacement of new external pavers and installation of a new external staff entrance door, leading internally, and external gate, leading to the nursery play area.

Section 2 - Internal refurbishment works

Light touch refurbishment works internally, generally consisting of decoration and floor covering replacement.

There are two rooms that require change of use, 1.no sensory room converted to a laundry room and 1.no laundry room converted into a meeting room. There are minor mechanical and electrical alterations.

Please note: all mechanical and electrical items in the specification are a Contractors Design Portion (CDP).

Any tendering contractor will need provide suitable designs as they will hold design liability for all M+E elements on this project.

Section 3 - Rear Garden works

External landscaping alteration works to the rear and side of the building, including removal of exiting pavers, levelling out and re-turfing the rear garden, erection of fencing and a gate, and making good and providing a solution to a change in ground level at the side of the building. Again, this section of the project is a Contractors Design Portion (CDP).
