description
Providing temporary modular accommodation at Turing House School - Hanworth Road, Hampton, TW11 0LR of 5 general classrooms and 2 practical spaces including ancillary support spaces. In addition to provide temporary modular hall space suitable for public examinations. Service installation to include electrical, water supplies and drainage works.
Temporary units are already in position on site, and these works are to expand on those existing units, potentially interconnecting where possible to allow improved efficiency in works and site operation (subject to further design and investigation by the selected Contractor).
The selected Contractor is required to develop a suitable design and delivery solution.
The works will require completion during the 2020 summer holiday period, with the Contractor ensuring no impact to school operation, particularly considering the examination period. Therefore, it is expected that enabling works will be necessary prior to the 2020 summer holiday period (potentially completed in the Easter 2020 period, although to be confirmed by the chosen Contractor). Temporary accommodation is required to be in occupation for the start of the 2020/21 academic year, with all necessary handover and commissioning works completed prior to this.
