The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) operates a number of fusion research devices and related facilities at its Culham Site. The subject of this contract is the supply of a service for the routine monitoring of environmental tritium in air at the site perimeter. An experienced contractor is required to deploy analyse and maintain on a 4 weekly basis four tritium monitors capable of detecting elemental tritium and tritium oxide and twenty non-discriminating passive tritium air samplers. The monitoring is required to fully assess the impact of the authorized site stack discharges. A full description of the requirement is in the Technical Specification , attached.
