Roofing Related Projects at 3no. Schools

Milton Keynes Council are currently out to tender for the provision of Roofing Related Projects at 3no. Schools

The Authority has secured funding the following projects:

• oFlat Roof Replacement Works at Pepper Hill First School
• oFlat Roof Replacement Works at Merebrook Infant School
• oRoof Light Replacement Works at Great Linford Primary School.

The Project Objectives are to ensure that:

• oThe flat roof covering systems are to meet the fire classification of BS EN 13501-5 Broof(T4);
• oThe tiling to Great Linford Primary School is to conform to BS 5534;
• oWorks are to enhance the School Buildings by upgrading poor condition elements;
• oWorks are to improve the energy efficiency of the School Buildings in accordance with Building Regulations Part L;
• oRoof lights and coverings are safe and easy to clean and maintain;
• oRoof lights and coverings installed are to be those specified or equal and approved;
• oWorks are carried out in compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, to ensure the health and safety of contractors, workers and end users of the property; and
• oWorks are completed on time, within budget and to a high quality.

Suppliers that would like to take part in this tender process are invited to 'Express Interest' upon which the will be given access to the full tender documentation delivery through this e-tendering system.

When the tender documents have been made available involved suppliers will receive notification via email and the tender documents can be accessed from the 'My Tenders' area of this website and selecting the 'View Details' button of this project.

Expressions of interest will only be accepted until 23:59 hrs; 05 May 2021 and the deadline for submissions of the tender will be 12:00; 06 May 2021.
