Accreditation of Level 5 in Data Analytics for Government

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is seeking to accredit an existing learning pathway for what was formerly the RSS Higher, level 5 qualification in statistics and analysis.

The Analytical Branch of the Learning Academy, within the Learning and Development Division within ONS, is intending to deliver a further single cohort of the level 5 qualification using its own staff to deliver the modules. This is normally offered as a two year programme.

The level 5 qualification brings together modules on a range of topics covering official statistics, the statistical cycle and analysis techniques. It is aimed at providing statistical staff with the opportunity to gain a professionally recognised qualification that is both applied and provides an entry point to the Statistical Profession across Government.
