description

The University has a requirement for the following:-

Lot 1.

This requirement is for the replacement of the Intruder Alarm systems across 3 buildings in the Universities St Peters Campus and the upgrade of the CCTV Maxpro equipment in the Universities Control Room also at St Peters Campus.

The various buildings are operational in excess of normal opening hours for upto 14 or 16 hours per day. The works therefore must be conducted in such a manner as to minimize disruption to the students and staff.

The control centre is operational 24/7 and as such the replacement and decommissioning of the Maxpro equipment and the installation and commissioning of any new equipment must be completed in such a way as to minimize downtime and exposure for the University.

Lot 2.

The University would like to explore by way of condition reports, the feasibility to upgrade / replace the Intruder Alarm systems at the National Glass Centre and David Putnam Media Centre.

In the eventuality that during the contract period, further feasibility works are required, these works would be incorporated into this contract.

Lot 3.

The University would like to explore and understand the minor replacement/upgrade/installation/maintenance contracts available for CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control as part of this opportunity

Lot 4.

The University would like to explore and understand a full service agreement as specified in Lots 1 to 3

These factors must be considered as part of your response and will be explored and expanded upon throughout the tender process.

The Services outlined above maybe considered as different work packages in order that the University may select the most economically advantageous tender(s).
