Provision of Domiciliary Dental Clinical Technician Services

This opportunity is for the provision of Clinical Dental Technician services to the domiciliary sector on behalf of Kent Community NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) Dental Services (purchaser). The provider will be required to visit patients in their homes or within residential and nursing care home settings. The provider will be responsible for scheduling their patients referred to by KCHFT from Monday to Friday on a mutually agreed date and time between the hours of 0830 - 1700Hours.

This opportunity is a fixed term award (current financial year) August to 31st March 2023 and geographically lotted (East and West) across Kent.

Activity is not guaranteed to any provider, it will be dependant upon the requirements of the Trust and commitment to reduce patient waiting lists.

The maximum budget for this project is 24,999 including VAT for the whole area provision, with the possibility of multiple providers awarded (dependant upon provider availability/capacity.)

The Trust intends to engage a maximum of 4 providers within each lot, (East/West) but reserves the right to increase this number should the need arise.

Evaluation of bids will be based on costs submitted in conjunction with supplier capacity, availability and pass/fail criteria.
