The University of Warwick has a requirement to purchase a spectral reflectometer consisting of a microscope with Deuterium and Tungsten-Halogen light sources, Si array detection spectrometer, CCD sample imaging system, fibre optic cables, plus software for the measurement of thickness, optical constants (such as refractive index) of transparent thin films. The reflectometer will reside in the Science City Cleanroom facility in the School of Engineering (the cleanroom staff will provide routine imaging and be used to train a wide range of users across Warwick University.
