The works are centred approximately around national grid co-ordinates NZ 32264 57619. Works include: · Realignment of the A1290 by construction of approximately 520m new 7.3m single carriageway highway. · An at-grade junction with the A1290. · Extension to Phase 1a, the extension of the 7.3m single carriageway highway to connect into Nissan Way · Widening of Nissan way to accommodate dual carriage way All include associated earthworks, landscaping, traffic management, environmental/ecological works, utilities' diversions.
