description

The outcomes will be that policies and interventions are better designed and targeted at the forms of harmful work children do in African agriculture and how to effectively create conditions for children to thrive. This will avoid misguided actions that worsen working conditions and prospects for children. The ultimate impacts will be a reduction in the number of children in harmful work and the prevention of future harmful children's work in African agriculture. This will contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 8.7 and the elimination of child labour by 2025. The programme will facilitate the creation of conditions for children and youth to thrive and reach

their potential, which will contribute to the unlocking of a demographic dividend in Africa.
