Kirklees Council are seeking to procure autism training for staff to enable them to:
| • | Explain what an Autism Spectrum Condition is in relation to undertaking the assessment |
| • | Make reasonable adjustments to carry out social care assessments |
| • | Undertake person centred assessments which respond to the specific needs of people with autism including effective support planning |
| • | Explain the transition pathway into adult social care |
| • | Explain what support is available to help someone with autism into employment. |
