description
Further to the PIN published by the Department of Health (DH) and the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) in the Official Journal of the European Union ref 2015/S 231-389103 on the 30th October 2015 regarding the procurement of the future model for NHS procurement, supply chain and logistics services.
DH is to hold a Market Engagement Day at Quarry House, Leeds on October 27th 2016 specifically to present to the market the proposed logistics services contract of the Future Operating Model (FOM). The early engagement is to ascertain interest in the market for a potential 3 year term contract with two one year extension options, tied to performance outcomes. The prospective contract would be with a single provider on an open book plus management fee basis. The Market Engagement day will be in the form of presentations by DH explaining the FOM, logistics operation, procurement process, proposed contract and proposed payment model. It will also provide an opportunity for attendees to feedback to the DH both on the day and through follow up one-to-one engagement.
To register for this Market Engagement day please email fom.logistics@dh.gsi.gov.uk by 17:00 October 13th 2016. Places will be restricted to two attendees per supplier at this initial meeting. Please provide names when registering.
Additional information: Please note that all organisations who register an expression of interest for this event will (if they have not already done so) be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Only organisations that have registered will be allowed entry to the Event. Organisations not attending the Market Engagement Event, but who still wish to participate in future sessions are advised to register their interest as per the instructions above, stating that they will not be attending on 27th October.
