The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (“the Authority) acting on its own behalf and as the lead authority on behalf of the London Borough of Redbridge(“the participating Authorities”) invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to Tender for appointment to any one or more of the specified Lots of the Framework Agreement for the Provision of Private Hire Vehicles for Children and Young People with Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities and Vulnerable Adults (“the Framework”)

The Framework will commence on 1 September 2016 and, subject to satisfactory performance, will operate for a period of four (4) years, terminating at midnight on 31 August 2020 (“the Framework Period).

The Framework shall consist of the following Lots:

Lot A – Saloon Cars

Lot B – Saloon Cars with Passenger Assistants Lot C – MPVs

Lot D – MPVs with Passenger Assistants Lot E – Mini bus (12 seats and above)

Lot F – Mini Bus and Passenger Assistant Lot G – Accessible Vehicle (8 seats and above)

Lot H – Accessible Vehicle and Passenger Assistant

Organisations are permitted to submit a Tender for any one or more of the Lots for which they consider they are suitably qualified and experienced. Organisations shall be aware however that appointment to any Lot for which they have identified in their tender submission is not automatic and will depend on the evaluation of their tender submission.
