Contract for refurbishment of three houses in Abingdon to a schedule of works

Vale of White Horse District Council owns and manages the above properties. The properties are used as temporary accommodation for homeless households. The properties have been vacant for a short period of time and following the completion of a full structural survey and the production of a specification of works in respect of each property, the Council now requires that a provider project manage the schedule of works to complete the refurbishments to bring the properties back into use in as short a timescale as possible.

Additional information: The Council will only use companies that are registered to Constructionline and have filled out a PAS91 pre-qualification form on that system. The Council will review the financial criteria and experience noted on that form.

Although the tender is stated as 'Lowest Price' that is for companies meeting the PAS91 critera

and having the right experience, financial standing etc from the documents. We will also wish to see an acceptable programme for the schedule of works.

The £250,000 in the advertisement represents the maximum budget of the Council for this projects and we would be expecting to see bids well under that.
