description
The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse ('the Inquiry') is seeking to commission a small-scale mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative) research project, the aims of which are to: understand children's knowledge about staying safe from online-facilitated child sexual abuse;
Understand how they learn about the dangers of online-facilitated child sexual abuse, and their views on education on staying safe online;
understand the online experiences and behaviours of children and their attitudes towards the risks of sexual abuse facilitated online.
The Inquiry is seeking to appoint a supplier with expertise in conducting mixed-methods research with children and young people about sensitive topics, and with knowledge of online-facilitated child sexual abuse. The supplier must have a proven track record of delivering ethical, high quality research projects for government or other high profile clients. They must also have the capacity to deliver the project within challenging timescales, be responsive to queries, and have an ability to write research outputs for non-technical audiences in plain, accessible language, including undertaking a robust quality assurance process involving multiple review stages.
