GB-Telford: The Place in the Park - Concessions for Catering and Bar Services

As part of the many celebration events throughout the year the Theatre will be transformed into the Town Centre Arena with a 1000 seat big top venue.

The big top venue will be just one of the many events planned throughout the year including a carnival, balloon and kite festival, light installations and many community events.

We are offering the opportunity for catering and bar companies to provide a range of food and drink provisions for this venue from Saturday 4th August - Sunday 19th August 2018 inclusive. We are looking for a mixed, high quality, imaginative offer suitable for a wide ranging audience across a number of different events, for this unique venue in the park. This is Telford's anniversary year and the Big Top will provide a very special experience, a first for the town in an amazing setting over the summer and we will be looking for innovation and creativity in the proposal which embraces this unique event. Sub-contracting will be acceptable to provide a suitable quality service of food and drink.

We are looking for high quality food offers including street food and alcohol and non-alcohol bar services. There is an opportunity for individual providers and suppliers as well as larger companies and organisations with multiple offers to apply to be part of this event offer. Interested parties must be able to provide appropriate service staff and stock for the expected number of customers for each show. We are looking to select companies who can provide complimentary offers of quality and good value to our audiences.

Over the 16 days the shows will attract audiences in excess of 16,000 including a wide audience range from children's shows, family music and adult comedy.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
