Berthing Supervision at Folly Reach (Isle of Wight)

The Isle of Wight Council ("the Authority") invites Quotes from suitably qualified suppliers ("Potential Suppliers") for the provision of berthing supervision at Folly Reach on the Isle of Wight.

The successful supplier will be the Authority's authorised collector of visitor dues at the Folly Reach. Other requirements include meeting visiting craft on arrival and offering assistance as practicable, delivering a residents' mooring management service and providing damage, defects and accidents reports to the Authority.

The service needs to be available seven days a week throughout the year, to regulate the safe berthing of visitors' craft, and to collect all dues as specified in the harbour's Schedule of Charges. Visitors to the Folly Reach arrive at all times of the day, and the service provider must have an ability to maximise the collection of fees, through their regular presence on site.

The term of the contract shall be from 1 April 2020 until 31 March 2023 with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the Authority.
