An economic review and economic evaluation to inform the development of a NICE public health guideline for employers and their representatives (e.g. managers, HR professionals, occupational health professionals) and others that have a role in workplace health to support employees with disabilities and long-term conditions in the workplace. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has been asked by the Department of Health to produce guidance on approaches to support employees with disabilities and long-term conditions. The guideline will be developed by one of the Public Health Advisory Committees (PHAC). The draft scope for this guideline (which provides details about the intervention areas, population groups and key research questions and outcomes) has been on the NICE website since 6 March 2015.
