description
The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust ("the Authority") is seeking to engage with suppliers interested in its upcoming requirement for a Learning Management System.
The Royal Othopaedic Hospital (ROH) has been looking to explore options to replace the current Learning Management system (and associated add ons) to the current LMS provision within the ESR System.
Over the last 3 years, the Trust has seen an increasing requirement for additional training and e-learning resources which are not available through the current ESR system. This is largely due to the shift towards e-learning in a post-Covid environment
Suppliers who are able to offer a solution relevant to this requirement are invited to express an interest, attend a market engagement day and respond to a market engagement questionnaire. Further details on how to do this are contained below.
This exercise is intended to provide potential bidders with the opportunity to review the Authority's draft specification and to provide information regarding the services they can offer that could meet these outline requirements. This builds on the Authority's commitment to engage with the market, by sharing information and seeking input from the market to enable us to develop the final specification and determine the appropriate route to market in a fair and transparent manner.
Suppliers wishing to participate in this market engagement exercise and express an interest in this requirement should respond to the questionnaire via the online response form on the Health Family Single eCommercial System Portal (Atamis) by 17:00 on Wednesday 26th June 2023.

As part of this process we would also like to invite suppliers to a market engagement day, to be held at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham, On Tuesday 20th June 2023. Please can you confirm your interest in attending this event by emailing matthew.kelsall@uhb.nhs.uk by Monday 26th June 2023. Please confirm in this email the number of attendees that you would wish to attend the event.
To help facilitate this day we would appreciate any initial responses to the requirements questions that have been attached with this guidance. This will help inform our team of what possible solutions exist in the market and make the day more informative. If you are able to share any initial responses to the market engagement questionnaire before the supplier day, please email these to matthew.kelsall@uhb.nhs.uk.
