description

The Purchaser is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this further competition for the supply, delivery and installation of a Two Photon Absorption Transient Current Technique System. We seek a femto-second laser system capable of highly localised two photon absorption primarily in pixel detectors used in high energy physics. An electromagnetic shielded box containing a 5d positioning stage equipped with sample holder and necessary connectors for device read out is desired. The facility will be used to map the electric field three dimensionally with high resolution in novel solid-state, primarily silicon based, pixel detectors for use in high energy physics.
