description
Wigan Council is looking for an event management company/entertainment provider to curate, deliver and manage a five-week event programme from Monday 2nd August to Saturday 28th August 2021 operating Monday to Saturday between 10:00 to 16:00 in Wigan Town Centre, Believe Square within the budget of £49,999.
The activities at the event must be aimed at the target demographic of families with young children (12 and under) and can consist of but is not exclusive to play, workshops, art, dance, music, games, interactive activity, stories, and film. As the theme suggests stories can be told in a variety of ways. This event will complement a series of events being managed by the Wigan Council Event Teams, the working title is 'Believe in Story Telling' and should be branded in conjunction with Our Town Live and ERDF. This event will take place in close proximity to an existing council library and there will be crossover in relation to the storytelling theme.
The event space is large enough to accommodate between 50 and 200 people at any one time (depending on layout) and will be free to attend. The event will also ensure that it remains COVID compliant until we receive any further Government direction.
The deadline for the submission of final tender bids is Monday 19th July 2021 at 12:00 noon.
