Warwick District Council are currently seeking quotations for the Daily Maintenance, Servicing and Emergency Call-Out for Two Outdoor Paddling pools at St Nicholas and Victoria Parks

Warwick District Council operates two open air paddling pools located in St Nicholas Park, Warwick, and Victoria Park, Leamington Spa.

The paddling pools are open to the general public during weekends and bank holidays from the 27th May to the 3rd September. The pools are also open during weekdays from the 22nd July to the 3rd September.

The paddling pools form a significant aspect of the visitor attraction to the parks and as such must be operated safely, with minimal service disruption.

The pricing schedule (Section 6) details the services that are required from the Tenderer in order to assist Warwick District Council during the 2017 season in maintaining the paddling pools on a daily basis, including routine water quality testing, dosing and emergency call-out cover.

The tenderer is ensure that all costs tender ensure that their service complies with the safe and effective operation of pools as a priority, to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive approved document 'Managing Health & Safety in Swimming Pools (HSG 179)' and all other associated health and safety requirements.

Daily recording of tasks is to be carried out and completed together with an incident log detailing any issues such as discovery of broken glass, plant failure or results of water pH and bacterial testing.

All record keeping is to be issued to the WDC Contract Administrator in an electronic form on a weekly basis.
