GB-Torpoint: Sullage Pipeline Replacement Project

The mechanical scope of works for this project is to provide procurement and mechanical services for the replacement of a 10" sullage pipeline and associated valves and line fittings. The mechanical scope of works will also include removal of redundant pipework and supports along with the installation of new piping supports as needed.

All works will be undertaken at the OPA OFD Thanckes site in Torpoint, Cornwall.

The mechanical installation will generally include:

1.Mechanical disconnection and removal of the existing 10" ductile iron sullage pipeline, associated 6"and 4" pipework and redundant supports.

2.Mechanical disconnection, removal and capping of redundant lines to / from Tank 25.

3.Supply of new carbon steel piping, fittings and supports.

4.Supply of all valves.

5.Supply of all air vent and relief valves.

6.Installation of pipeline, valves, air vent and relief valves.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
