Winter Maintenance and Gritting Services - V2

Both Northampton General Hospital (NGH) NHS Trust & Kettering General Hospital (KGH) NHS Foundation Trust Estates Departments are responsible for the day to day maintenance of buildings over several sites.The majority of these buildings are health care related; in addition there are administration, supplies, and accommodation, workshop and storage facilities.

Both sites have in excess of 600 beds, with NGH (NN1 5BD) self-contained within its town centre location(which includes Springfield House).

As well as the main hospital site at NN16 8UZ, KGH have three (3) outlying locations which are part of the service requirement:

a/ Nene Park Outpatients, Attley Way, Irthlingborough, Wellingborough. NN9 5GF.

b/ Robinson Way Car Park, Telford Way Industrial Estate, Kettering. NN16 8PT.

c/ Trafalgar Road Car Park, Kettering. NN16 8BA.

Therefore we are inviting expressions of interest and would ask any parties interested to express their interest on the Trusts e-tendering portal at www.supplying2nhs.org noting that if you have not already registered on this system you will need to undertake that first and then express your interest.

Please note, this is only the expression of interest stage, so please register, download the documents (plus examples of the two hospitals site plans) and lodge your interest if you feel you can fulfill both of the Trusts requirements shown in the specification (Appendix B1) and the shortlisting evaluation documents (Documents 2 & 3A/3B).

No other information will be released until the closure of the EOI stage, which will be 11th January 2019.

Other than registering an interest do not complete or send anything back at this stage, it is purely expressions only, so please familarise yourself with the documents as they are the final documents for the relevant stages i.e. SQ and ITT documents, but please DO NOT complete at this stage.

It is likely that the next stage of information will be released w/c 14th January 2019.

Additional information: This contract will carry a 3 year contract term, but will be split across an initial term of 1 year and extended by 2 years fixed, based on the performance in that first year.
