Refractory (reline) of the FT 2 and FT 3 Single ended cremators at Sandwell Valley and Rowley Regis Crematoria

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (\"the Council\") wishes to invite interested parties (\"Tenderers\") to participate in a tender exercise to appoint a suitably qualified Contractor to carry out the Refractory (reline) of the FT2 and FT3 single ended cremators at Sandwell Valley and Rowley Regis Crematoria (\"the Invitation To Tender\").

Period of Contract

The work is expected to take between 1-2 weeks to complete for each cremator and when required will be undertaken during the period of the contract which will be four years.

Value of Contract

The total value of this contract is estimated to be in the region of £120,000.00 excluding VAT for the entire duration of the Contract. This value is based on historical spend data and is intended to be used as a guide only and is not a guarantee of the level of business that will be generated.

Contractors/Supplier(s) Appointment

It is anticipated that the Council will appoint a single provider that is a suitably qualified and experienced to provide the services at an agreed price and specification to the terms and conditions of this Tendering process.
