NHS/SoEPS/16.299 PIN - Prior Information Notice (PIN) and Market Engagement for the 2017/18 Children and Young Peoples’ Education & Training Fund - Vulnerable Group

NHS South of England Procurement Services, acting on behalf of Health Education England (the Commissioner) will be commencing a tender for the delivery of initiatives to support workforce transformation, development and training that is intended to improve outcomes for vulnerable Children and Young people. The fund is intended to encourage and support initiatives that will contribute to workforce development through education and training, and we expect to be assessing applications from a wide range of organisations. The maximum amount an applicant may apply for will be £250,000.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention.

We also plan to hold a Market Engagement session in London at The Auditorium, Stewart House, 32 Russell Square, WC1B 5DN on the 9th of December 2016 from 10 -12.30pm. This will provide an opportunity for potential providers to find out more about the aims of the tender and contracts, the process involved as well as network with others. HEE will use the opportunity to gather intelligence from providers which may influence the final tender.

The commissioner reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time.

It is the intention of the commissioner that the procurement will be conducted as on OJEU Service Contract using an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The ITT is expected to be published mid to late December 2016. A separate advert will be released advising of this.
