description
East Riding of Yorkshire Council (the council) invites tenders for the provision of an offsite Microsoft 365 Backup of the council's core tenancy. The council does not currently have an off-site backup solution and are in the early stages of its implementation of M365.
The council are looking for a hosted SaaS service to provide an M365 backup product with the application fully hosted and patched by the SaaS supplier. The Council requires support in initial configuration but after the initial configuration all ongoing backup jobs, user imports and restore procedures will be managed by the council's onsite IT Team.
The backup solution will provide the functionality detailed within the attached Specification Checklist document but as a high-level summary must provide:

| • | Be hosted outside of Microsoft Azure on UK based servers |
| • | Compliance with GDPR |
| • | Enable simple restoration of data. |
