The appointed Supplier will be required to lead on the progression of the below activities.
- a)Liaison with the Highways England and the Scheme, as required, to ensure that all data required to conduct safety reviews is requested promptly and so that safety updates and reports may be provided to the Client and other stakeholders.
- b)Safety reviews during the trial; data provided by the speed camera suppliers will be reviewed to provide safety updates to the client and other stakeholders.
- c)Surveys of employees at local business parks; on-line surveys will be used to identify the views of drivers who regularly travel on the main M1 carriageway through the M1 J45 improvement works zone.
- d)Focus groups with stakeholders, either face-to-face or, if the scheme is unable to arrange a suitable event, by telephone interview; it is essential to identify the views of stakeholders. The supplier will carry out focus groups or telephone interviews with road workers (e.g. traffic management operatives, Highways England Traffic Officers, recovery operatives).
- e)Provision of final report, summarising the safety reviews undertaken and including findings of the employee surveys and stakeholder focus groups.
