A Specialist Nursing Service that will support individuals in Hastings and Rother who are aged 18 years old and over who are rough sleepers and/or member of the street community and/or living in temporary accommodation.

The provider will deliver a holistic, nurse-led healthcare, first aid and education service to the target population groups. The service should provide information, advice and support around physical health and wellbeing, where appropriate, refer to specialist services as part of routine daily contact with individuals. Making every contact count is an opportunity to educate and empower individuals to make positive lifestyle choices and changes for their own health and wellbeing.

The provider will be expected to deliver a service that is innovative and based on robust partnership working with key stakeholders.

The provider will deliver the service to a list size of approximately 400 people in three settings: at least one community setting in Hastings and Rother to be agreed with commissioners, at the Conquest Hospital, Hastings and as an outreach service on the streets and in temporary accommodation in Hastings and Rother.

The primary period of the Contract will be 2 years from commencement of the service with a single option of extending the term for up to a maximum period of a further 2 years. Contract extensions will be at the sole discretion of the contracting authority.

The maximum total value for the potential four year period is £500,000. Any Bids that exceed the maximum value will not be evaluated (they will be excluded from the process).

Additional information: The Services to which this ITT relates fall within Chapter 3, Section 7, Particular Procurement Regimes to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Part H of the Annex V to the Public Contracts Directive (also known as "light touch regime" formerly Part B services). Neither the publication of the above advertisements, the inclusion of a Bidder selection stage nor the use of the term "Pre-Qualification Questionnaire" nor any other indication (including any statement in this ITT) shall be taken to mean that the Contracting Authority intends to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Chapter 3, Section 7, Particular Procurement Regimes.
