Invitation to be placed on the Emergency Arboricultural works "Select List" and/or on the Non-Emergency Arboricultural works "Select List"

Worcester City Council is inviting Applications from suitably experienced and qualified contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion on our 'Select lists' for the following categories of work over the next five years, subject to a regular check and review of key criteria:

List 1: Emergency Low value Arboricultural works (trees and hedges) - up to £10,000 per job

These works will include emergency working on trees and hedges in parks and open spaces and woodland. Emergency Works response times are required 24/7. The council requires a response time of 1 hour (need to be onsite within 1 hour from point of contact) and duties will include: working at height in tree canopies, tree felling, pollarding, coppicing, crown lifting and crown reductions.

List 2: Non-Emergency Low value Arboricultural works (trees and hedges) - up to £10,000 per job

These works will include working on trees and hedges in parks and open spaces and woodland. Working at height in tree canopies, tree felling, pollarding, coppicing, crown lifting, crown reduction, crown thinning, stump grinding/removal, general tree pruning, hedge and coppice trimming and thinning, woodland conservation work, tree support checking /repairs, tree survey/inspections, assessments, reports, resitograph reports, logging data on GPS and tablet system.
