NHS Waltham Forest Clinical Commissioning Group invites interested providers of primary medical GP services to attend a Market Engagement Event in advance of an Invitation to Tender exercise for provision of primary medical GP services, via an Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) contract. The practice has a raw list size of 10818 (as of July 2018) and NHS Waltham Forest CCG are using this as an opportunity to develop a specification which supports an integrated approach, allowing for collaboration in the delivery of care.

These services will be provided in Waltham Forest from 1 July 2019.

The SMA Medical Centre, 693 High Rd Leyton, London E10 6RA has a raw list size of 10818 (as of July 2018) and NHS Waltham Forest CCG are using this as an opportunity to develop a specification which supports an integrated approach, allowing for collaboration in the delivery of care.

These services will be provided in Waltham Forest from 1 July 2019.

It is envisaged the contract will be awarded for an initial period of 5 years, with optional extension for a further 5 years, therefore the maximum total duration for each contract is 10 years. This is subject to approval by the Contracting Authority, and the final details will be made available through publication of the procurement documentation.

The event will take place on Thursday 11 October (1200 -1400) at Kirkdale House, 7 Kirkdale road, London, E11 1HP. Depending on interest, there may be restrictions set on the number of attendees from each organisation and places will be reserved on a "first come first served" basis.

The subsequent Procurement process will be facilitated entirely online via the Authority's e-procurement portal "ProContract" (the Portal). It is expected that the contract notices and procurement documentation will be published 7 January 2019, and will contain further information on accessing and responding to the tender opportunity.
