description
The Child and Families Therapeutic Pathway will offer needs led, emotional wellbeing and mental health support, for children (aged 4-13 years inclusive) and their families across Norfolk and Waveney, with the overall aim to help children to achieve their goals and have improved mental health.
Children who access support from this pathway are likely to be experiencing trauma, anxiety, low mood/depression, and self-harm. The provider will be experienced in providing support and promoting recovery for these kinds of issues through evidence-based therapeutic approaches, in a holistic way.
It is also recognised that the families of children and young people accessing this pathway may have a variety of other challenges which may be impacting the whole family's emotional wellbeing and mental health needs e.g. education & employment, housing, drug and alcohol misuse etc. It is expected that the successful provider of this pathway will work to ensure the holistic needs of these families are met; through direct support and working in partnership with other specialist organisations.
Key Project outcomes will include but are not limited to:
CYP Receiving advice and guidance
CYP receiving one to one or group therapeutic interventions per year
% of CYP in receipt of service who report 'measurable improvement' in their mental health and wellbeing through routine collection of routine outcome measures
% of CYP referral/drop ins accepted or supported towards relevant/appropriate service
Engagement with a variety of specialist organisations to meet wider family related needs.
