Job title: Senior Contract and Procurement Officer
Location: Working from home
Pay: Band G (18.53 per hour- £21.19 per hour) Please ensure the day rate for candidates is included on the CV.
Knowledge and experience of OJEU tendering is required.
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contract and Procurement Officer to work as part of the Adult Social Care, Health and Well-Being's Commissioning Support Unit.
The post holder will be responsible for the procurement and contract management across a full range of Public Health services.
The post holder will develop and manage tendering (including OJEU) and performance management processes for their portfolio of services and hold robust audit trails in compliance with the Council's Standing Financial Instructions and Contract Procedures. The post holder will work closely with colleagues within the Directorate to ensure services procured reflect what is required to deliver the commissioning aims and objectives.
Through performance management of services, the officer will take lead responsibility for developing and improving the quality of service delivery for a defined portfolio, working with a range of commissioners. The post holder will manage relationships with providers and manage service finances to ensure contracts deliver within agreed budgets.
The post holder will lead in the resolution of all contract-related queries relating their portfolio managing non-compliance and performance management issues to resolution.
