description

The West Berkshire Groundwater Scheme is a groundwater augmentation scheme comprising of 32 pumping stations connected to four major outfalls through 87km of pipeline.

The objective of this project is to replace the control panels, pumps, rising main, electrical infrastructure and site services as laid out in the User Requirement Specification and Functional Design Specification for our pilot site (Henley Farm) in all 32 groundwater pumping stations.

Deliverables include an integrated and holistic design approach between panel and pump design, system curve design, pump procurement, installation of variable speed drives and 'remote on' functions, rising main replacements, new instrumentation including new pressure switches and cabling, installation and commissioning (FATs and SATs).

Our aim to have all design works for all the 32 sites completed by March 2023 including delivering the Pilot site (Henley Farm). Installation works for the remaining sites on a rolling basis until 2025. The contract duration is a year contract with option to extend for further two years to deliver the package.
