description
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (the "Council") is seeking to appoint a tennis operator (the "Operator") that will promote, develop, manage, and maintain tennis provision and court facilities within five park sites in Barking and Dagenham.
The purpose of the tender is to identify an Operator who can demonstrate their ability to work with the Council to drive the service and tennis development forward, and who can demonstrate a flexible approach to deliver the best possible tennis facility and services within agreed criteria and outcomes.
The contract will be for an initial period of five years and after this time the contract may be extended for further period of up to 2 years at the sole discretion of the Council.
The tennis provision must reflect the highest quality and delivery standards and a community-focused programme, so that the Operator will maximise the potential capacity of the borough's tennis courts.
