description
In Bolton our aim is to ensure the best outcomes for children by making sure the free early years places are delivered safely and to a consistently high standard. We will work collaboratively with providers and parents to offer families high quality provision.
Applications are invited to set up high quality childcare provision in the following building:
Tonge Start Well Centre Starkie Road, Bolton BL2 2ED
Bolton Start Well Service (the "Service") is offering an opportunity for a suitable early education and childcare provider (the "Provider") to run on-site sustainable, high-quality provision in the dedicated nursery section of the Tonge Start Well Centre.
Tonge Start Well Centre is an excellent location for a nursery setting, serving housing estates in the Tonge area. It is in one of the more disadvantaged areas of Bolton and will attract funding for eligible two year old children. Tonge Start Well Centre offers a range of activities and integrated support services to support families with parenting so children get the best start in life. A wide range of services are offered from the centre including Antenatal and Well Baby Clinics; Stay and Play sessions, community activity and Tonge Church. It is also close to local shops, post office, doctors, dentist and a number of primary schools. The building benefits from good transport links and is only ten minutes out of Bolton Town Centre ensuring good access for families.
The Provider will be offered a dedicated nursery unit, with toilets, office, storage space and shared use of the kitchen (with specified storage space). The property has recently been decorated including new flooring. There are purpose built toilets and sinks for the children.
The building benefits from a large car park and secure outdoor play space which has a grass and tarmac areas. This is fenced / gated and will be for exclusive use by the nursery.
The Service is therefore inviting expressions of interest from good and outstanding providers who wish to deliver a quality service within the building.
There is an open session to view the building on Wednesday 11 March 2020, 18:00hrs.
