description

West Sussex County Council, Kent County Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council are looking to commission 50 residential places and support services for Children with Complex Lives. The aim of these services will be to support effective partnerships with providers to meet the needs of children with complex lives who need high quality care. The places will be offered across 4 lots: one for each authority.

Central to this service will be a model of residential care based on an effective relationship between the Participating Authorities and provider(s). The services are being designed to support a relationship in which all parties bring their skills, expertise and imagination to an approach, underpinned by a shared set of values and beliefs. As part of this approach the authorities are committing to a soft-block contract model, long contract and high quality support during the mobilisation of contracts.

The authorities are holding a market engagement event to further describe the service being commissioned, to describe the bespoke route to market, to communicate the proposed timelines for the tendering process and to answer any questions on the service model or tendering process.

Suitably interested parties should register their interest by emailing patricia.martin@westsussex.gov.uk. You will be invited to attend a Microsoft Teams meeting on Monday 14 November at 1.30 pm for one hour. A maximum of two people per organisation may attend.
