1909 Queens Building Re-roofing and associated works at De Montfort University, Leicester

De Montfort University (DMU) seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out the following Queens Building Re-roofing and associated works:

The works consist of the. the below Schedule of Works relates to the re-roofing of the central atrium area of the Queens Building, including any associated works required for the replacement of the roof and its insulation requirements to meet with the current building regulation standards or better.

• oIncluding leadworks, parapet repairs and repointing as required to joints and verges.
• oThe contractor is to engage with their own M&E sub-contractor to deal with any plant, pipework or lightning protectors as part of their works.
• oPart of these works includes timber repairs and decoration to previously painted area including, window, doors / door frames, soffits and facia boards etc this list is not exhaustive and is to be read in conjunction with the Dulux specification and workmanship clauses.
• oYou are to act as Principle Contractor and coordinate all associated works as required.

Length of Main Contract Period: 14 weeks

Lead in Period - 2 weeks - 17/04/2023

Start on site - 01/05/2023

Completion - 04/08/2023
