description
The Council requires a consultant to undertake a comprehensive evaluation and review of its Housing Options service with specific focus on how it manages its statutory homelessness functions.
The Housing Options statutory homeless service in Birmingham is seeing unprecedented levels of homeless presentations and demand for temporary accommodation leading to increasing caseloads and pressures on staff and resources.
A review is sought to provide an expert independent evaluation to assist the Council in its evaluation of the service and inform options for improvement.
The review is to consider all aspects of the 'end to end' statutory homeless service including from prevention, customer presentation, case management, advice and securing accommodation etc. Organisations are required to demonstrate an expert in depth knowledge of each area of the service and customer requirements and provide relevant findings against each element.
The contract period is for up to 4 months.
