Liverpool City Council (LCC) is conducting a bespoke competitive procurement procedure with negotiation and is inviting suitably qualified Bidders to submit Tender responses set out within this Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) document for the future commercialisation of LCC owned NET ducts and to provide Ultrafast broadband network and Public Wi-Fi/wireless network These services will be divided in two distinct work stream areas, which will be both awarded to a single supplier partner-

1.Utilising Capacity in LCC owned NET ducts, providing a fully sustainable Ultrafast broadband network

2.Supply of Public WiFi connectivity

Initially the contract will be for a 15 year period with a potential for two, 5 year extensions (each), to deliver its vision of ultra-fast broadband and Wi-Fi services to the City Centre of Liverpool under a concession arrangement with the successful Tenderer

Any new arrangements for the delivery of the Ultrafast Broadband and Public Wi-Fi connectivity is likely to begin April 2017
