Clerk of Works Appointment - 3 no Sites

Portsmouth City Council, 'the Authority', is inviting tenders from suitably qualified clerk of works practices to deliver clerk of works services on a number of upcoming construction projects.

Background information

Portsmouth City Council is looking at developing 3 no residential sites in Havant and Portsmouth and is seeking clerk of works services to support the client on these developments.

The sites are;

Land to the rear of 2-56 Blendworth Crescent, Havant

Land adjacent Riders Junior School and Kingsclere Avenue, Havant

Ivy Close site (former Arthur Pope House and Somerstown Health Centre site, Blackfriars Close), Portsmouth

Contract values of the sites are anticipated as follows;

Blendworth Crescent - £7.3m Kingsclere Avenue - £6.5m Ivy Close - £8.085m

In addition to the listed projects above, the Authority reserves the right to request that the successful bidder carry out similar services on other projects. Where this is requested, the costs submitted as part of this tender process will be the benchmark for additional works quotes.
