Horsham District Council is inviting tenders from all suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of Building Fabric Reactive Maintenance and Minor Works, Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services. The Contract covers planned preventative maintenance as well as remedial and reactive work on its property portfolio. The closing date for submitted tenders is 6th June 2019. A bidders day is taking place on Friday 10th May.

The Council is seeking appoint one Contractor who will manage the Council's requirements to the highest levels of satisfaction, professional standards and cost effectiveness, whilst working with the Council in a partnership approach to deliver service improvements and value for money over the life of the contract.

It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 17 October 2019 for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 2 year period subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the council. The Council's current annual expenditure on these services is between £900k - £1m per annum.
