NHS Scanning Bureau Supply Contract

A contract has been awarded for the following requirements:

• the supply of Opex Falcon static and transportable scanning units, or equivalent scanning hardware and associated software on a call off basis (up to 60 units in total) which meets the Authority requirements;

• support and maintenance for scanners;

• supply of associated hardware and software to support the networking and storage requirements of scanned images;

• configuration of the scanning equipment and overall scanning services/solution in line with the Authority network/infrastructure requirements;

• configuration of the scanning equipment and overall scanning services/solution to integrate with/meet any external EDMS/network/infrastructure requirements;

• the provision of additional hardware (including parts and peripheral equipment) and software for the provision of end to end scanning solutions and document management requirements which may be specified by the Authority.

The contract has been procured and awarded via the QE Procurement National Framework for Clinical IT. The Framework owner is QE Procurement (as agent of QE Facilities, part of the Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust Group.
