UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) on behalf of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of Statutory Inspection Services. The services are to be provided by an external provider (Inspection Body). The Statutory Inspections are to comply with the following regulations:

The Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR)
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH)

To comply with The Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR), and The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH), STFC requires the services of an external provider (Inspection Body) to undertake these periodic inspections.

PLACE OF WORK

The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) locations to be covered under this contract are:-

  • Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL), Harwell, Oxfordshire
  • including Chilbolton Observatory, Chilbolton, Hampshire
  • Daresbury Laboratory (DL) Daresbury, Warrington
  • The UK Astronomy Technology Centre (UKATC) Edinburgh, Scotland

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the RFP document.
