description

Summary

This project aims to holistically evaluate suitability, scalability and net mitigation effects of methane-inhibiting livestock feed supplements in a UK context. Deliverables shall include a rapid evidence assessment in line with best practice to deliver insights into realistic impacts (accounting for benefits and trade-offs) and barriers to successful GHG mitigation. This will account for impacts to consumers, farmers, the environment and potential legislative/marketing/trade requirements. Additional evaluation will investigate anticipated consumer acceptance of widespread sectoral usage of methane-inhibiting livestock feed supplements.
