Sandwell MBC - Requirement for the Facilitation of Management Development Centre in the Children and Families Service in Sandwell

Sandwell Council is committed to the continuous development of their managers in its Children and Families Service.

In order to support managers to get the job done at the same time as developing them, the council wishes to commission a Management Development Centre (MDC) to provide an independent and skilled appraisal of managers. The MDC will be viewed as a positive process which will provide a supported opportunity for managers to demonstrate their skills and competencies and understand the areas they would benefit from developing.

The understanding gained from this activity will provide the platform upon which a specific, meaningful and value for money development programme can be developed.

We would like proposals to set out details of how the MDC would work, the number and operational arrangements of the sessions that will take place, the venue/resource requirements and the types of activities that the sessions will involve. We also request that the proposal sets out the detail of how the detailed individual feedback will be carried out.

50. managers at a variety of senior levels will be attending the MDC.
