AREA 4 20/21 MALTON FOOTWAYS R&R

Treatment of the footways and carriageway on U329 Maiden Greve. Works consist of 20mm, 30mm and 70mm deep footway resurfacing including replacement of damaged kerbs along inner curve of carriageway, raising low kerbs at footway crossings and replacement/resetting of iron works, and one section of carriageway patching/reprofiling at a failed area of carriageway.

Treatment of the footways and carriageway on U332 Middlecave Road. Works consist of 70mm deep footway resurfacing, replacement of damaged kerbs along inner curve of carriageway, replacement of service covers, installation of edging kerbs, re-setting of channels, replacement of kerbs and reprofiling carriageway at uncontrolled crossing, and resurfacing at 50mm deep of a vehicle access at the school.

Treatment of the footways and carriageway on U336 Mount Crescent. Works to include kerb replacement and footway re-surfacing at 20mm and 100mm depths, carriageway patching at 100mm deep and reinstatement/refreshing of road markings between the traffic signals at Newbiggin junction to Middlecave Road junction.

Treatment of the footways on U362 Orchard Road. Works consist of 20mm and 70mm deep footway resurfacing, replacement of damaged kerbs, raise low kerbs at driveway crossings and repair damaged footways at driveway crossings, and installation of edging kerbs. Also included is perforation of a section of footpath and reinstatement to a grassed area at Bramble Walk and construction of 220mm deep Type 1 footway to replace the removed section along the edge of carriageway. Existing ironworks to be adjusted to be replaced/reset to accommodate new footway levels.

Treatment of the carriageway and footway on Russett Road. Works consist of kerb and channel replacement at two short sections on Russett Road and reinstatement/repair of the footway areas behind the kerbs. works also include milling to a depth of 40mm two sections of carriageway which have settled and reprofiling the carriageway with surfacing and regulating.
