1275 ITT for LED replacements to 4 x Buildings at De Montfort University, Leicester

De Montfort University is seeking to appoint a single electrical contractor to carry out the replacement of existing fluorescent lighting with LED lighting and the installation of occupancy sensors in specific areas of four buildings within the University campus:

1. Campus Centre
2. Heritage House
3. PACE
4. QE2 Leisure Centre sports hall

The proposed works are to include: the replacement of the existing Luminaires for new DEXTRA LED Luminaires. Complete the design development of the electrical services, undertake the detailed design of the electrical services, installation of the Electrical Services, stripping out of some of the existing Electrical Services, carry out all site surveys. Supply, install, wire, connect, balance, set to work and test and commission the electrical services installations defined in the specifications document.

PLEASE NOTE: no alternative LED products accepted for this project.

The programme for this project requires all Works to be completed in July 2017, therefore the university seeks companies with adequate resource to complete works within programme.

The form of contract will be JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2016 including any modifications, amendments, inclusions and clarifications.
