ADULT SOCIAL CARE PROPERTY DELIVERY STRATEGY

This is a specialist piece of work that requires the winning bidder to devise a property delivery plan to shape the Council's approach to adult social care provision over the next 20 years. A range of consultancies need to be reached to ensure value for money and that the winning bidder is suitably qualified.

The London Borough of Waltham Forest Council is seeking to develop a Property Delivery Plan to take forward the Council's adult social care accommodation strategy.

Accommodation Strategy: 2020-2040 (Appendix 1) was finalized in July 2020 and seeks to ensure that people are living in the right accommodation that meets their assessed needs and maximises their independence. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought into focus the need to provide appropriate and suitable accommodation for vulnerable adults.

The Council has undertaken detailed demand modelling on the future needs of residential-based care, and this is complimented by thinking focused on how to improve service provision. A Property Delivery Plan is required to map how the Accommodation Strategy can be delivered, including detailed estates implications.

Please note, payment for this contract is based entirely on completion of milestones. For each milestone you complete, you will need to submit a service receipt and then payment will be released.
